made ya look
Next week today my first novel will officially “hit the platter”, as one of my characters would put it. It’ll be out there, in the world with the classics and the pulps alike, where strangers can love it to pieces or rip it to shreds (odd how similar those sound).
Of course no one wants to be ripped to shreds, but there is this to consider: for strangers to rip it, first they’ve gotta find it. And considering how hard I’ve been working to make sure everyone can in fact find FOOL’S PROOF, I now see where the “any publicity is good” mentality comes from. It means that, at least, my signal flare has been spotted.
