Everyone hates info dumping. But why? I say the trouble with it isn’t the info, it’s the DUMP.

If you can find a way to pack a lot of information into a small space, entertainingly enough so people actually enjoy reading it, you have succeeded in your quest, and no more will be said about it.

“Info dumping” is when this process goes wrong and it annoys the reader.
